==History==
Kvickly was in the beginning a Swedish food market chain owned by the 'consumers organization' ('Konsumentföreningen') in Sweden. The first store opened in the 1950s in the Stockholm Area. The company name was changed to Domus in the late 1960s/early 1970s when the stores grew and turned into bigger supermarkets that did not only concentrate on selling food. However, in Denmark, the Danish equivalent of 'konsumentföreningen' decided to start a sister chain with stores named ''Kvickly'' in the early 1960s, where the name is still in use.
